Meet Andrea

Andrea Clark (she/her) is a functional somatic movement teacher and co-creatrix of Nectar Yoga Retreat Centre, Nectar At Home, and Mist Thermal Healing. With roots in Scotland, Ireland, and Scandinavia, Andrea grew up near Canada's Rocky Mountains, finding solace in nature early on. Her journey spans fine arts, design, and corporate life before diving into yoga, functional movement practices, and metaphysics. Traveling globally, she extensively studied yoga, meditation, ayurveda, and mobility from world-renowned leaders, becoming a global retreat leader herself. Andrea's movement classes blend Nada yoga, Bhakti yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates, as well as sound healing.

Co-founding Nectar in 2014 with her partner, Satjeet Pandher, they launched a boutique hot sauna and cold plunge experience, Mist Thermal Healing in 2025. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys swimming, cold dipping, and spending time with loved ones and her dogs, Forest and Fern. More about Andrea HERE.

  • The Nectar At Home Wellness Membership is a living practice that grows with you. Each week, receive a new class aligned with the current season, spanning yoga, Pilates, functional somatic movement, meditation, and breathwork. Over time, your access becomes a rich on-demand library of movement and mindfulness practices led by experienced teachers, including Nectar co-founder Andrea Clark.

    Use it as a standalone rhythm or alongside the 40-Day Sadhana for deeper structure. Recordings keep your practice flexible and accessible anytime.

  • The Wellness Membership is subscription based, charged in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes. Depending if you’ve selected the monthly or annual membership, the appropriate fee will be auto-charged to your credit card, giving you unlimited access to the entire Wellness Membership library of classes and listed bonus content. Annual fees are paid in full for the year.

  • You can cancel your membership at any time, and you will retain access to classes until the end of your current billing cycle. For example, if you signed up as a monthly member on the 1st of the month and cancel on the 3rd of the same month, you'll have access until the last day of that month. If you opt for an annual membership, you'll enjoy access for the entire year from the date of enrollment.

  • All Nectar At Home offerings are non-refundable. Please read carefully before signing up.

  • Yes, Nectar At Home is a global platform with a beautiful and supportive global community. Your membership price will be calculated via the exchange rate from your credit card provider, from CAD to your local currency.

  • You can change the payment method by logging into your Account.

  • All you need is yourself and an open mind. A yoga mat or any firm, non-slip surface works well. Instructors may suggest props for added comfort, but you can easily improvise with items you already have at home, such as cushions, pillows, blankets, or a stack of books. There may be the occasional class that asks for a specific equipment; those are listed in the description of each video.

  • The yoga practices, pilates, and functional somatic movement vary from beginner to intermediate and experienced. We emphasize optionality in all our classes, considering that everyone has different needs based on age, body shape, mobility range, and age.

  • The Wellness Membership includes a range of movement practices including yoga, Pilates, blended somatic exercises, Gyrotonics, Barre, wall exercises, and more. Our yoga includes styles including, but not limited to, Nada yoga, Bhakti yoga, Vinyasa flow, power yoga, Yin yoga, and restorative yoga.

  • Nectar At Home offers curated Spotify playlists categorized as UNWIND, ATTUNE, ROOT, and ACTIVATE to match different energy types. Find the playlist link in the class notes and synchronize your wellness class with the music by hitting play on both. If streaming to your TV, launch Spotify on another device or speaker. Alternatively, you can choose your own soundtrack for your practice.

  • Expect a minimum of 1 new functional movement or other wellness digital classes added to our library each week.

  • Always consult your doctor and medical team before participating in any of the Nectar At Home classes. If you have questions regarding modifications, please fill out this form and someone on our team will respond within 2 business days. Please be aware that certain postures, breathing exercises, and classes are not recommended during pregnancy or the first few weeks of postpartum. See below for more.

  • Before beginning an online movement class, please review the following:

    It's essential for individuals to assess their readiness for the chosen class. Movement requires evaluating the safety of your practice within your physical limits. While exercise can be challenging, it should never cause pain. Always listen to your body and stay within your personal limits.

    Ensure you exercise in a spacious, well-lit area free from obstacles and wear comfortable clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. Avoid wearing jewelry during exercise. Stop and consult your physician if you experience dizziness, faintness, or discomfort. Monitor your condition during the workout and exercise within your limits.

    If you have specific injuries or health conditions, consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program. These classes are not suitable for pregnant individuals; we recommend consulting a specialized pregnancy movement studio.
